Every time I try to startup texmod my anti-virus detects a trojan. I have tried downloading it on two different computers with two different anti-virus.
Has anybody else had this problem. btw my computer skills are weak.

Also is there any reason why A-net couldn't just put a counter in the top left corner of the screen when you are in a zone to tell you what % you have explored in that area. I mean the info has to already be there so why not just tell us the info. instead of downloading a 3rd party program. I know you don't have to download texmod to get the title but it is just retarded the way you have to go about it with out the program.

I had the same thing. You need to tell your anti-virus software that it's an OK program.

The % thing would be ok, but you would still not know where ecxactly the missing pieces are... Without Texmod I would never (ever ever ever) gotten Legendary Cartographer.

Texmod doesn't have any viruses at all so I think it's a problem with your anti-virus.

ArenaNet wouldn't really put that % icon because it would make the title easy to gain and people will easily get Legendary Cartographer and it will be another title which isn't really respected because it is easier to get.

Thanks for the replies. I will chk my anti-virus.

And I don't see how a % icon would make it that much easier, I mean you still have the find the zone you have not completed and figure out where you have not uncovered map area. Seems like that is harder then texmod feature but then again how would I know have not got texmod working yet
